2012 Summer Solstice Adventure Race

EVENT OVERVIEW

Welcome to the SBB Racing’s Summer Solstice Races!

We are all set up to give you SBB’s Signature Service of Old School style Adventure Racing with lots of choices, lots of possible CPs and lots of variety, all in these two races. You won’t get wore out on marathon length sections of one discipline as we will have you hopping from one thing to another, along the way to a fantastic finish and Post Race Party SBB is known for.

The race will be challenging, but with lots of fun and beauty along the way. With many of the CPs “optional” and only a couple cutoff times in the 18-hr race, no one will get short coursed or left behind and all can still finish the race together, whether new to racing or an AR Veteran. Sign up as a soloist, Team of 2, 3 or 4 and bike through two or three cities, paddle on majestic and historic waterways and trek through parks and woods never been raced in before.

Both our races are part of the Checkpoint Tracker National Point Series Championships!

Post Race activities for racers and their friends and families include: Voleyball, Fishing, Birdwatching, Canoeing, Horse Shoe tossing, all free of charge (Personal poles required for fishing). Racers can earn FREE Racing Credit at SBB Racing by bringing a friend or family member and having them get the SBB Experience while helping Volunteer at your race. FREE Race Credits can be earned and used by racers or can be earned by others and donated to their friend or family member. If interested, click this VOLUNTEER FORM link just below and send it back to us at mark@sbbracing.com .
